A coffee date as well a coffee break.

A nice place to have a break if you are a coffee lover. It is just located behind the swiss garden hotel which also nearby to pudu bus station about 10 minutes walk distance. 

If you have no place to hang out but waiting bus to arrive, this is a good place where you can read a book while enjoying your coffee with a piece of cake.

As i have to send my boyfriend to puduraya but we reached there 2 hours earlier. So we decided to head to a nearby place to hang out and spend our time. As i always pass by this road but never have a chance to drop by this cafe. Today is the best time. We ordered a cup of cuppuccino and a flat white with a piece of their signature cake: The King. Sound great right?

A cuppa to free my mind. A nice place to stop for a break , dream for a second and back to reality.

Acme Bar Coffee

Acme Bar Coffee (ABC) 

This is 1 out of 20 must go cafe in KL which i wanted to go for long. Today happen to drop by KLCC nearby. This cafe is located under Troika where provide basement parking which is very convenient and need not to headache to find a parking. We went there around 11am but there is a long queue so we make a reservation for 5pm instead of waiting there til don't know when is our turn.

A nice ambient and elegant decorated cafe. There is indoor and outdoor. This is one cafe that you can have a nice twin tower scene view if you wanted to see twin tower view instead of going to Skybar in trader hotel. I would recommend to go this cafe around 5.30pm when the weather is not hot and where you can see the day and night view of the twin tower.

The menu:

We have ordered lamb kofta sticks, sizzling brownies, 2 cups of flat white and macchiato.

Lamb kofta sticks with pomegranate mint yoghurt. The source taste sour and sweet with the salty lamb this combination goes very well and complement each other. The lamb meat is made of fresh meat unlike those typical sausage.

Another special desssert is sizzling brownies, a must try dish recommend by all bloggers. It serves hot and when the dessert served, it was still sizzling. The way they serve is nice and the moisture doesn't lost compared to those typical way serving putting even microwave. Ichiban!

A slice of cake it must go with a cup of nice coffee. Sweet and bitter combination is a good neutral combination. Not too sweet not too bitter......Hmm.....Nice~~~

Coliseum, Plaza 33

Coliseum cafe & Grill room, a newly open cafe at plaza 3, right beside Jaya 33. My colleauges, supervisor, her son and i plan to go there to have a nice dinner for breaking fast. We have been there once but unfortunately is closed for break during 3-5pm. So miss it but luckily we met the manager who told us that booking in advance is needed to avoid disappointment. Due to newly open and fasting month, we have to book one week in advance if not you have to queue up for long time or come another day.

The oldest and famous steak house in Town since year 1921.

Steaks i would say fairly okay only. A bit too pricey, anyway is not the price matter but the food matter, if you can get a piece of very juicy and tender meat. For the dessert, I personally like and recommend the bread pudding among the rest.

Estilo Spanish Tapas Bar & Charcoal Grill - Publika

esTilo is a cafe/bar that served Spanish food and wine/cocktails. A random pick of choices, esTilo has nice ambiance with colourful hanging lightings, romantic and friendly atmosphere, suitable for friends, family as well as lovely couples to hang out. 

Guess what?? i spotted something in the photo above which i like the most in this cafe - the "rattan hanging chair". Someday, I will definitely hang one outside my future house balcony. Imagining I'm sitting on it, enjoying the nice view of the garden with a cup of nicely brewed coffee. Hmm.....awesome, right?

Enough with all this grandma story, now talk about what me and my friend order for our dinner.

Calamarés Rellenos, a Tapas Calientes (Appetizer), which is baby squid stuffed with prawn meat and vegetables.

Capellini Mariscos, a seafood pasta, with clams, mussels, squid and prawns in spicy tomato sauce.

Opps the next one i cant remember what we order, i remember is a lamb and served with spanish rice. Maybe it is Corderos Lamb Chuletillas.

Lastly, we have our dessert, Molten Lava. Slurps slurps the name itself already sound yummy actual is also taste super delicious. As the warm chocolate really flowout just like the lava exploded from the volcano.

Another nice weekend i had. Thanks to my friend for my belated birthday celebration, he brought me to have nice food and pamper my stomach.

Ben's, Publika

Another birthday celebration, but this time is with my bestie. We know each other since we were 3 years old, awesome right? We treasure our friendship and keep contact with each other all the time. So we went out for our 'dating' after her work to Ben's, Publika.

Ben's and Plan B are flagship cafes under the Big group. That day we went to Ben's so coincidentally they are under renovation, half of the place are closed up. So not much i can take for the cafe ambience.

We made order for our food since we are starving and stomach are growling. Again we ordered pesto spaghettini and wild mushrooms quiche ; for drinks, again my favourite flat white and one ice blended mocca. While waiting for our food, the best thing to do is take out my baby to capture some nice shots not just environment or food, of course the pretty ladies as well.

Thanks to my bestie bringing me out and treating me a nice meal add on a pressie from her. Have a nice outing full of joy with her. Since i m birthday girl i force her to do alot of crazy stuff which  normally we will do at this age til everyone looking at both of us. People said in front of the person you love, you will need not to act in front of he/she, you can be yourself all the time. No matter what you are they will accept just the way you are. *winkwink* :)
